Can someone walk me through on how to replace my Slave cylinder? Does anything need to be taken off before hand? Should I get a little plastic tube for the valve when I bleed it?

I don't have a write up, but easiest way to find it is by tracing back the hydraulic clutch fluid. I believe the slave is attached to the block. Be sure to bleed the lines FULLY after putting it on. -TC -------------------- Live your life for yourself. Don't hold back for anything or anyone.

It's super straight forward - and yes, the slave is attached to the block, actually, IIRC the top of the tranny? I don't remember off hand... you'll need a 9mm flared-nut wrench to unscrew the hard line that runs to the slave, and also to unscrew the bleeder screw. It's really straight forward though, IIRC you just unbolt the old one and put in the new one, bleed the line and go.
From the BGB: QUOTE CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER
Removal & Installation Disconnect hydraulic line at clutch release cylinder. Remove bolts and clutch release cylinder. To install, reverse removal procedure. Bleed hydraulic system. This post has been edited by GriffGirl: Jan 6, 2010 - 5:00 PM -------------------- |

Hah! Looks like I've already taken a pic of the slave cylinder for someone else on the site at some point. Note that it's location is to the right of the transmission, just beneath the radiator hoses.
