I want to change the back of the driverseat and change it with the one on the passenger site. But i got stuck on the panel at the left site of the driverseat. As you can see on the picture. I have indicated the panel i want to remove RED.
How can i remove the 3 handles so i can remove the red panel? |

Try carefuly pulling on that red panel and it should click out from its clips just a little bit....mine did by accident once. After that you can try to eye up the situation a little better. Maybe you can gently pull off those handles after that...im not totally sure, but thats the best advice i can give you.

on the underside(inside) of the 2 dials, there will be pins holding them on. also, there should be a screw under the recliner lever. i believe that should be just about all that's actually holding that panel on...? i don't recall from when i took my seats out. wish i could help more buddy.

yo guys thnx for al the help. Yesterday i had it fixed. It's possible to switch the back of the driverseat with the one on the passengerside. But.... It's impossible to change the part were you sitt on. The screwholes of both seats do have a small difference. So don't even try it. It had cost me for about 1 hour to find out. (when i was removing the seat :S)
But i got what i wanted, a nice almost as new back of the seat This post has been edited by nelus: Nov 19, 2003 - 7:19 AM |
