Hey everyone, just wondering all of what goes into the installation of a body kit, does it just bolt on, or is it more than that. I have heard many people talking about the replica veilside kits and aris kits saying that they don't fit right and need modification, what kind of modification is that, like cutting the body kit or just bending it or what, any help would be great

i have never heard of a fiberglass bodykit that did not need any work done to it. usually there is some gap problems and edge problems that need some fiberglass touch up work to get it to fit perfect to your car. some kits do not come with any mounting bolts or pre-drilled fitment holes! it does really all depend on the quality of the kit you buy on mow much work is involved to get it to fit right!
fiberglass work is not really hard to do... i molded my own kit! you just need the right tools and materials thats all!
get in good with the vo-tech auto body teacher and ask him to use your kit in class for a demo and do all the work for you biggrin.gif
make sure you pass some money his way after yuo get the kit back
