just wondering wut kind of car or cars would i look for in a junk yard to find a t3 turbo???

i got mine from a volvo

if i could go back, i would just have got one of the ones from ebay thats $290 plus shipping

i had to get a new exhaust housing and do a rebuild on it.

it ended up costing me $300

I also would say e-bay, but the old buick grand nationals had a t-3 in them as well...

i would say its damn near impossible to find a GN engine in a junkyard

but that would be a great turbo, plus u could use the IC and IC fan

check ebay, look for a t3/to4b and theres a seller that HONERS the 90warrenty. i got 2 off of him. the seller even overnighted one to me for a little extra of course to not have any down time.

all turbos are oil cooled

some are also watercooled.

water cooled is a bonus, it keeps things cooler and your oil will last longer
