Does any company make a head light coversion kit, to get supra head lights?

Or is it one of those "If you have enough money you can get it done" things?

please send me your answers via AIM @ Superdollarstud

THANKS FOR ANY AND ALL HELP,

-Brandon

Its one of those, "If you have the money, you can get it done, things." I think you said you had like 2500 dollars burning a hole in your pocket. It would probably take up about 1-2K if not all. Sorry if my estimation is wrong, too. I am not experienced with bodyshops. Ray, 0Re0, I think y'all are pretty familiar with shops. Any thoughts?

I think it might run close to $4000 for such a conversion...

I'm not sure how much each headlight assembly costs, but I'm going to guess that they are roughly around $700 a piece. Now this doesn't include the harness (which I'm pretty sure is necessary). Customization will be needed to the hood, fender, and the bumper. Most people that do the Supra headlight conversion just end up using the Supra bumper or cut off the top portion of the bumper and some how mold it to their factory bumper...

So considering parts will run about $2000 and labor to be around $1500 to $2000, yes, this can be pretty expensive...

Personally, I wouldn't recommend this conversion since:

1. These wildstyle conversions are played out (IMHO).
2. You can get projectors for a fraction of the cost of this conversion.

I never have because I think it would be visually unappealing... and it wouldn't do much at all...

I dont like it, but if I was going to take out my highbeams for an intake, I would take out both, but having the filter in the housing where you can see it looks really rice

I disagree jayi, I think it looks crap however you do it. Plus rain can pour straight into your intakes so its more a track thing methinks.

Has anyone actually seen a headlight conversion they thought looked good? Out of all the ones I've seen the only one that almost looked good was that 5th gen orange one.

I would only ever consider it if it was done on an AWD celica otherwise It seems a bit lame. Imagine pullin up next to a supra at some lights and getting owned by it. biggrin.gif

I posted on the Mini-Supra a while ago.

As for the Integra with the S15 front headlight conversion...Integra/Silvia Conversion. I remember that from when it came out in Import Tuner. A really nice ride. wink.gif

My teammate had the same headlight conversion... but went back to the Type-R JDM conversion... almost everyone on my team are starting to go by the idea of KIS (Keep It Simple)...

im not a big fan of supra headlights or taillights on our cars...i think u can do somethin more creative if ur gonna do a conversion of that sort...somethin like BMW headlights with s2000 tails or skyline tails.

I always thought that the R32 GT-R taillights would look amazing on the 6GC. A good reason behind that is that it would keep it symmetrical with the headlights.

I can't make my mind up from the pics that guy supplied. Looks nice from the front but you'd need a diagonal shot to see if they blend into the body or not biggrin.gif
