I am trying to remove the entire dashboard from my 95 GT convertible. I've taken out all the screws/bolts I can find, and it seems like it's about to come off, but just won't come. I've searched everywhere and there are no instructions. Has anyone done this? Any ideas?

oh lord...
the dashboard is held by 4 black screws 1. bottom left 2. botom right 3. upper right remove small vent cover 4. Upper left, remove big vent then 2 nuts. 1 is underneath the airbag 2 is undernead the bezel of ignition then 2 bolts that have the airbag! you have to remove nearly all the plastics, to get to some of the bolts to get the dash out, you need to lower the steering wheel its held by 1. 4 nuts 2. 2 bolts. next when you have done all this! disconnect the wiring on the left where the door comes in and the right and those in the middle that go to the main engine harness those cups that hold the wiring on the sides are tricky to take out.. see pics , take pics, its a tricky process. cuz this is nightmare the plastics for the vents have to be removed. reconecting all is a PITA to remmeber. i may have forgotten some key points, but its the basic it took me 3 hours to remove, and voila the key is to disconect, the wires, its not easy then paint this, it looks nasty This post has been edited by njccmd2002: Mar 7, 2010 - 5:52 AM -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years...
