I ordered a pair of White 6000K LED SMD H3 bulbs for my Fog lights today, went to install them and they didn't work.
I tested them directly from the battery and they lit up fine, but when installed in the lamp units they did not illuminate. After reinstalling the original H3 Halogen bulbs they illuminated just fine. This seems to indicate that the relay requires a minimum current draw to activate as the LED bulbs use 5W compared with 55W for the Halogen bulbs. Has anyone run into this before? Is there a relay I'm supposed to replace with another one? -------------------- Mike W

You need to revers the polarity of the wires...or I did in mine anyway I just cut them and switched them over and re-soldered. Normal bulbs arn't bothered about the polarity, but LEDs are.
