i have just fitted some 5th gen Celica mirrors onto my 6th gen vert and all seemed to go well except, the power adjustment goes in the wrong direction, up is left, down is right, right is up and left is down. it all works but its quite annoying. so my question is two fold, 1st is this common? 2nd is it worth the hassle to fix or do i just adjust them and call it a day? i hate messin with the wireing especially since they do work but don't want the problem to get worse for me ignoring it. please give me some advice!

Sounds to me like you just need to rotate the wires in the harness. Unpin them and move them all one spot clockwise. Before you seal everything up, test and repeat. If you notice in your post, whatever button you press does what the button one spot counter clockwise of it does. That should fix it.

White mirror wire goes to black wire from your harness
Red mirror wire goes to brown wire from your harness black mirror wire goes to red wire from your harness http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=21572 Did u use this guide?
