correct (non) i didnt use the adhesive yet. i used a very strong adhesive spray called duro all purpose spray adhesive. does nice and dont seap thru the cloth. and holds tightly. worked good. i just wanna do a lil better job next time. i plan on doing my seat controll thing on the side side of our seats next. just to try new things.

well your question is exactly what motivated me to get both. but i feel the cloth itself is more streachy and the other stuff is the 3m stuff its more durrable but is harder to work with because its already tacky. id rather work with the item im working on be sticky than having the cf sticky. but all in all i think its good to have both some things dont need to be sprayd just a peel and lay kinda deal. but one thing wrong with the non adheasive. it was folded wen shipped. sooo u can imagine what happend with the cloth. hahah CREAAAASEEEEE can be stretched out though lol

well it seems to have a good sctatch resistance. it didnt like show a scratch as for heat i did a quick test i took a lighter held it like 2 inches away and it seemd to stay cool it didnt shrink or anything. but this will look good on fuse boxes. but also gotta think will the adhesive get weird on ya. but i seen some one use it on a roof of a car i can only assume it works fine since its been thru a few summers and is still in tact.

You can buy CF vinyl in bulk online at yourautotrim.com. They have alot of different colors. They also have alot of other patterns, some are really cool. They have a full description of the materials and the specifics about heat tollerance. You can also buy samples from them. They also carry speaker box carpet and automotive carpets.
I do some upholstery work on the side and I use this site alot.
