I think thats a great idea! I don't know if a single loop would look as good as something along the lines as maybe a 4pt setup since there is a backseat and quite a bit of room behind the front seats...as opposed to like a Miata or S2K.

Yeah if you did a 4-point sort of design so that it covers the rear seats.

I think something like the Mustang has would look pretty cool.

I think this is a great idea. It would also be great if you could add a cross bar so it can also act as a harness bar for a racing harness.

That idea has once crossed my mine. I figured its great for rigidity, safety and more... but. I'm not sure about you but one of the main reason I bought my convertible is because is was a Toyota, 4 seater convertible. (Solara feels like a old's man car to me, sorry!)

I was thinking if you could somehow make one without losing or obstructing the rear seats, it would be a great seller.

i understand the theory but its not for me, i think it would ruin the over all look when the tops down, i have always owned vert's and its a personal rule that i won't even look at one with a "B" pilar or roll bar, but thats just what i think, its your car make it your own, i love it like it is myself....

i think it'll look good but will definitely be a safety hazard if people are in the back.. that's why you'll only find 2 seater roadsters with them..

May actually look good, Don't think it should go behind the drivers seat though. A double hoop like the one found on the Audi A4's behind the rear passengers may actually look good.
