on the rear installing ground controls did you guys have conned top hats?
i installed mine and in the front slammed its on the wheels but on the rear its still got good inch and a half gap?? theirs a rubber piece with a coupler is the spring supposed too slide around that?? or is the cone supposed to go inside it?? help! -------------------- |

The coned top hat is supposed to sit on top of the coil, with grease in between.

Post up a picture and I'll tell you what goes where. on top of the rear theirs a rubber piece held on by a metal coupler was i supposed to take off the metal coupler(instead of tearing off the rubber of it?) than put the coilover around were the metal coupler was? No clue - mine didn't have any of that for the rear. Mine was the coned top hat sitting on the spring. Do you have the threaded sleeves set properly? Sounds like the front is way too low.
Take a picture of this rubber and metal coupler. The only rubber on my setup was a small O-ring that slid onto the shock body to hold the threaded sleeve in place. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money

Just like the bottom picture, cept you need the mounts on top of it. That should be it, only reason my mounts aren't on, cause I havn't taken them off the car. |

on the stock rear strut did you guys remove a dust cover from the top that had a metal coupler holding it up?
