i have bought new emergency brake shoe pads and installed them just find....i manage to get the rear driver side in, but the passenger...well, it WON'T go in....if it does....it goes only just a bit and it is stuck fast and hard on. i reopen recheck everything....the springs to the adjustable fork...it just won't work...the parts i got are correct, but is there something i am missing. any help to this mess will be thankfully appreciated. wink.gif please. biggrin.gif

I just did the same on my car did the brake hardware kit and shoes...the drums did NOT want to go back on over the shoes...they were hitting in 2 places...i ended up taping them on with a hammer...and they were tight!! i just drove it until they wore down a bit!!

yeah....i found a solution....since the ebrake shoes didn't wore down as much compare to the new one...i just replaced one of the shoe with the new and left one side which is oem shoe on...it went in ok...thanks.

did you adjust the little adjuster at the bottom to make it all the way small?

yeah i use the adjuster....i tighten it all the way....

is the e-brake engaged when you're replacing the rotors?
