I heard that it would tune the 3sgte too, but I'm not 100 percent sure. Wait for someone to let you know for sure.

you can use it to tune ur car. Yes.

but ur only gonna be able to add or remove fuel. so that you have the correct mixture of air/fuel going into ur motor. DO NOT MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENTS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING!

otherwise, kaboooom

The only reason I am interested in it is I Want to add a bigger turbo, injectors, ect. and I was trying to go around getting a ems since there alot more than a sacf. So I guess I have to get a ems. Whats the least epensive and 1 that my local dyno can tune? They do alot of aem ems. But I found one for 1700 thats to much compared to a emanage I found for 800

Read this a while back. I have everything suggested to add for power except the sacf and I am running 15lbs . But my horse power goal has gone up. 375-400 so I need a new turbo injectors ect and I guess a safc wont work for me.

you need to keep researching...the horsepower goal of 375-400 can be achieved by reading what lagos sent you...nowhere in there does it state you need an s-afc. a proper engine managment system and a tune will get you there...READ THE PRIMER AGAIN

If you read it again, you will see that it tells you exactly how an safc works and how it can be used with the 3sgte. That link answers the question of this post, and also tells you if you should get bigger injectors or not with something like a ct20b or ct27.
