Those struts look like rears.
The front KYBs are usually insert cartridges. But my KYBGR2's were silver..not black...so I dunno. |

You can either get the full strut assembly or inserts. From my shopping, the full assembly was only 10 more than only the inserts, so I went for those.

Just spotted this on ebay
Rear Lip What do you lot think? Its a replica Euro rear lip, think it would go quite nicely with my euro skirt and front splitters! Just hope i can get it in time for the body shop thats all.... |

Emailed the seller and he let me have it for £50 ($75) inc postage! Just in time before it goes for the respray as well.

Just got the new shocks fitted and changed the lambda sensor.
The ride is SOO much better now as ive been driving on the busted shocks for about 2months now! My idle problem seems to be solved, which is a great relief because it was around this time last year that the problem started! All ive got to do now is wait for 3rd of may and a fresh lick of paint!

Haha tell me about it! Its such a relief because its been nearly a year since the problem started.
Yeah cant wait for the fresh paint now, im going to give the engine bay a good clean and see if i can get myself on the show stand at japfest

My new rear lip arrived today! Did a quick mock fit, looks very subtle so im happy.
However, its seems as standard with this car now, every time i fix something, something else breaks. Its like ive angered the celica gods.... Anyway i found a load of wool/wadding coming out of the exhaust which i believe is the sound proofing in the muffler? Does that mean a new muffler or can it be fixed? Also any ideas on cost? I do have the receipt from when luke had it fitted which has a lifetime warranty so il give them a call tomorrow. |

You may be lucky, but it says you have to get it checked out (free) every 12 months to keep the warranty going

Cant find the receipt at the moment, dont spose you remember the name of place? I know theyve got a garage around here because i looked it up recently to get the bracket fixed.

Wow, they look like they're doing a great job as far as prep goes. Why didn't they take off the skirts though?

yeah they should be taking anything they can off, especially the tail lights and the projectors, tape just does not cut it sometimes

I warned him about the projectors lol. Dont why they didnt take the rear lights out as its only 3 nuts holding them in when they went to the effort of taking the door cards off to get the handles out. I didnt really want to start questioning his work because i know nothing about body work and he does it every day. Im sure the finished result will be awesome though! Pictures of that tomorrow if hes finished it!

 Those risers are so awesome, they make the back end look so much wider. Lip is superb as well. If you ever part, I want both from you. WOAH, I just noticed that the rear bumper is molded! Nice.
