Alright, so I bought a JDM harness from johnehhh and recieved it today. I've been wanting to do an exterior LED light conversion (turns, sides, stops, everything) for a while and figure I might as well do it now.
My question is, I know the JDM lights have four panels. Obviously the corner is a flasher, and only needs a single contact (7440) light. My reverse light, should be a single contact 7440 as well. Now, I have a USDM harness in them right now, and when I brake, both of my stop light panels brighten (or turn on). Is this going to be the same with my JDM harness installed as well? Looking at the bulbs, two are dual filament, two are not, so I assume the answer to this is YES. I have used information from this thread to make my list. My shopping cart right now looks to be something like this: USDM Sides and Turns
![]() In short, I'm iffy on the type of the USDM Parking lights, not sure if they're 194 or if they flash and I need dual intensity. I'm also unsure of whether I need two or four red dual contacts on my JDM tails, but again, I assume the answer is yes. Also, hopefully this will help anyone else planning to do an LED conversion and save them the trouble of having to experiment with bulbs. -------------------- ![]() |

Just tested these, only one panel will light up...trying any combination of things I can to get them to both light up to see if I really need two dual contact panels for each side.
