Couple noob questions regarding pads. In general, if a car has discs in front and back, does that mean the pads will be the same? Is that the case for the GTs (I think it is not)? Are the ST and GT front disc pads the same?

There are some crazy cheap pads on Amazon (Monroes):

Monroe Pads

But they have about 4 different models that claim to fit my GT. The above ones are recommended replacement on ST but says will fit my GT. Since they are free pads AR, I just wanted to be sure.

The pads for the front of a GT are not the same as the pads on the front of an ST; additionally, I believe the front and rear pads for the GT are different from each other as well, but I'm not positive on that one.

no, the rear pads on the GT are smaller than the front pads. I also think that the ST has smaller front pads than the GT, and the ST has rear drums, so no rear ST brakes will fit a GT rear.

No, it looks like a hooker put her acid vag on your hood. Acid vag = bigger problem than a few dings.

Discs are typically different sizes between front and rear, as it's the front brakes which do most of the work.

For 5SFE-powered Celicas:
Front rotors
90-91 255 mm diametre, 22 mm thick, 54 mm centrebore
92-93 277 mm, 25 mm, 54 mm
94-99 275 mm, 28 mm, 55 mm

Rear rotors
90-93 269 mm, 10 mm, 54 mm
94-95 269 mm, 10 mm, 55 mm
95-99 269 mm, 9 mm, 55 mm
