Alright. As some may know I was gonna do the 7A-GE project. Turns out that I decided to back down on this due to other wants in life like finishing college and trying to own a condo or a house by the time I'm 28. I got the 4A-GE Big Port head from a guy who owned a 88 Corolla GT-S. 140hp with a 10.3 compression ratio, reinforced cast iron block, stated on Club4AG.com. This package I'm selling comes with the head, cam gears, cam shafts, intake manifold, valve cover, and all sensors and bolts. I got it for $200 local pickup. I'm willing to do $180 + shipping. Local pickup is ok.

QUOTE(cyb593 @ Dec 2, 2007 - 11:38 PM) this is a simple take the head off your 7a and put this on? or is there more to it? You will need to do some more research. As I am aware, you will need the alternator for the 4A, distributor for the 4A, uncut wiring harness with big port ecu, and a Porsche 944 timing belt becuz you are matching the 7a bottom block with teh 4a head so both of their timing belts won't fit the pulley pattern on the timing. You can pickup a distributor and alternator from the junkyard for like 30 bucks each. And that should be it. But do more research as I did mine. You can use the 7afe piston rods and heads but be careful on high rpms becuz they are weaker than the 4age but are compatible with the 7aGe long stroke. 7afe redlines 6200rpm where as the 4age redlines at 7600 with 8500 limit. With the ECU you are able to go higher than the stock 7AFE rev limit which is 6500rpm. Just make sure you switch gears if you plan hauling ars around the 6500rpm mark if you are sticking to the stock 7AFE piston rods bearings and heads. The 88 large port 4age is 120 hp 9.5 to 1 compression, the 91 small port is the hi comp 140 hp. Good price though.
