Hello everyone,

My dream of 3sgte has been destroyed for now again! So I have to get my celica back on the road with the 7AFE anyway,
I have a header setup coming in and now I need a Cat back setup. Should I just get the muffler/'s? and get the pipe made up or get
a cat back setup?

I've been looking at Greddy SP2 but can't find any reasonable price, and none actually say they will fit the ST, so would I have to mod the pipe to fit ? Or is this a bad Idea for the ST ?

Any other suggestions of nice cat back systems? Im looking for deep sound , I don't like loud and annoying. If that helps any.

They do not make catbacks for our car, you must have one custom made

so you can't just use one built for a GT ? and have some sort of adapter ring welded on ?

There aren't any exhausts made for the 6th gen Celica anymore - be it GT or ST.

Buy a Vibrant Performance resonator and a muffler that you like. Have an exhaust shop make up 2.25" piping. (This means your resonator needs to be 2.25" in/out and your muffler as well needs to be 2.5" in.)

Expect to spend anywhere in the range of $350-$500 for the catback depending on the cost of the muffler and resonator.

Thanks, this is really good information. I think I will get 2.5" from my ebay cat to a resonator then muffler because i might turbo it.
Maybe 2 resonators I hope not though. I want deep sound not annoying. From that thread I gather with the ebay header I will be
missing a cat converter which will alter sound alot , higher I think. Which makes me think 2 resonators will be needed. Emissions
where i am are not a problem atm.

About the resonators -
Im not sure what brands to go with still for the resonator/'s
And muffler I can't see a 50 dollar ebay purchase a wise choice. The apex N1 universal for about 200.00 looks realistic but im not sure about the sound.
Or the flowmaster's , i havn't checked the price on this brand.

So the quote in previous post of 350-500 sounds right

So is the path of the celica ST exhaust , the same as the GT?

Because this site claims they have a Greddy GT exhaust that I can get for just under $600 delivered

I ran a universal Supertrapp muffler on on my ST. Sounded great. The ability to adjust back pressure by adding or removing the discs that come with it is a plus too.

they said its discontinued...

but does the resonator need to be 2.25 so it could slip into 2.5" piping? is that what was meant? not sure, if you have 2.5" piping it should be 2.5" resonator because for example 3" resonator does not call for 3.25" piping. never heard of that.

Discontinued, well thanks for the information.

These choices suck , it would be easier to just order greddy catback smile.gif Im really looking for deep and not annoying if that makes any sense.

Apexi N1 ?
Flowmaster?

Im thinking flowmaster might be what i want but unsure. If anyone has any ideas let me know , if not thanks for the help on this thread.

apexi ws2 (just the muffler), greddy (just the muffler), or tanabe (just the muffler) get a vibrant resonator and you should be good.
