Apparently the car will be fine, with only the first one? idk i'm going to try it, and the o2 comes hopefully friday (everything I order is always from freakin cali! and I live in NY
![]() I will post as I install- -------------------- |

A bit confused by some of the wording. I am surprised that no one did any crimp bending for your new set up. Ive never heard of any muffler shops not doing that. If your asking about running the pipes "under-axle" vs "over-axle" most people on here probably have under (Im just guessing though) I've got over-axle lol Yeah but you've got the SP2. So um.....yeah. Lucky! OK, by upstream and downstream I mean this. I have a GT (which has 2 O2 sensors), one located before the cat (the one that's part of the manifold) and one that's located after. Hence "up"stream and "down"stream. I'm not too sure how it works on an ST (being that I don't have one, and its been forever since I've been under one). I know somewhere on here is some info about this. But as far as my set up goes. I'm only running my upstream O2 sensor (like what you have in your 2nd pic). I've got a downstream but never installed it as the only time I've popped a code was when I was real low on fuel and gunned it. ST's have the same setup. I also have upstream/downstream fuel sensors that I have to deal with when I get my header. -------------------- taking too long to mod since '09

So yeah no where around me will bend above the axle at the stupid angle our cars have. But anyway I found this ►►found here◄◄ When I was at my local auto store, and was wondering, can I just use this stupid universal thing, and route it the way my stock goes? Would only be using it to go above the axle (not the whole 5-6ft section). and then use real stainless 2.25 from the cat and res to this bendable pipe. Will it work? and still make the flow better? thanks anyone ![]() that is a repair kit. that is no replacement for an actual exhaust pipe. http://s659.photobucket.com/albums/uu320/j...nt=DSCF0465.jpg this shows my set up running "over the axle" and that's with 2.5" piping. It can definitely be done. I guess I've just got a really good exhaust guy. P.S. stop editing your original post to ask different questions. it makes it really tough to read through this thread and figure out what you are asking about and what's been answered. -------------------- '99 Celica GT - Sold

(and when I post a bunch of different questions people freak out lol, sorry if its confusing) The reason I made a remark once was because you made a few different threads just concerning a body kit; instead of making a few threads concerning the same question, it's easier for you to post questions in one thread. I thought you'd realize that you could post a new question at the end of the thread, instead of going back to edit your first post, because that is confusing. Just a heads-up. ![]() This post has been edited by SwissFerdi: Apr 13, 2010 - 12:10 PM -------------------- '97 ST \ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+ [sold 10/18]

ah I see now lol.
Ok well then new question is it safe to just use one o2 sensor (the first (upstream) one) and just leave the downstream one dangling? It will only be for a few days until I get the new o2 sensor, that I can thread into a new bung. -------------------- |

Yeah I want to know if I can run with just one o2 sensor? or will it make my fuel ratio super rich or something? Just leave the 2nd (downstream) uninstalled, and just dangling in the air lol
just curious- -------------------- |

muffler shops should have a legit pipe bender I just did my downpipe yesterday, they bent it going down and up and back to connect with the catback. they also did the flex tube.
