Neat. Drive it more. Too bad about that quarter panel (I've got a golf ball dent too).
Braked hard yesterday and pedal went almost to floor. It's still holding about half the pressure now, so I've only got moderate braking capability. Master is still full and I couldn't see any line leaks. I think my pads are toast though they weren't squealing. Caliper failure? He would if he could, but he's had medical bs keep him from doing so.
Check the calipers and wheel cylinders and if they aren't leaking and there aren't any ruptured or swelled lines it's probably the master. The master on mine failed and just looking at the system you'd think nothing was wrong, but go to apply the brakes and there was definitely something wrong. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

Yeah I've had medical issues the past year and a half they have prevented me from driving consistently. In the last year I maybe had 2 months of straight driving. I also hate the quarter damage too, stupid high school me did. I'm hoping once I graduating college, and get a real job I can get it fixed and painted.

you never showed us picture of your trd exhaust or how it sounds???!!! It's not on yet. The reason why is because the previous shop who installed my other exhaust f**ked it up. I was missing a section of exhaust maybe about of 1.5 feet. I asked them to get some flanges and a pipe and match a flange to the b pipe to the flange of my exhaust. Just a simple straight pipe to connect two pieces of exhaust. What they did is welded the pipe to my b pipe and did what I requested at the other end. I don't know how they got this idea or thought this was right, or what I wanted. I didn't discover this till I went in to install my new exhaust. Sometime in June I'm taking it in to an exhaust shop to have it fixed correctly and my TRD exhaust installed. -------------------- |

Today I,... decided it was time to start posting on here again.
My current collection of 6gcs include: 94 Celica GT Liftback Red 94 Celica GT Liftback Silver - 3S-GTE + E153 Swapped (Picking up Sunday) 96 Celica ST Liftback White - V6 Project 98 Celica GT LE Convertible Green and Tan - Finishing up replacing a blown motor then up for sale 98 Celica GT Convertible White - Engine donor, rear driver side window donor and a few other parts smashed otherwise 99 Celica GT Liftback White - Smashed in rear, donor for motor, black leather interior and a few other parts gutted at this point and getting scrapped 99 Celica GT Liftback Black - Daily Driver Currently I have a 3mz ready to be bolted to an E-153 transmission for one of these, probably the 99 Black Liftback, I have everything except the motor mount for the passenger's side, and the wiring harness conversion. I'm also sitting on a 1mz that I plan to install in the 96 ST with an S-52 Transmission and sell that I have everything other than the passenger's side mount and wiring for. Depending on the condition of the Silver 94 I may drive it as is for now, or find another shell to move all the parts over to. Planning to keep dumping money in my Celicas for the next few months and see what I can accomplish. This month I've picked up a TRD front strut brace, a GT-4 Euro front lip, an arm rest pad with extra storage and cup-holders, as-well-as the car I'm picking up in a couple of days. I also picked up a set of the Toyota Calidina star wheels for one of these projects. I would love to pickup a GT-4 front clip or at least bumper, hood and core support. Build threads coming soon, and others will be updated... |

I find it uneasy to justify my "fleet." You have my respect. As a long-time owner I don't necessarily need to ask why, but why so many? Flips?

I have a healthy amount of rot on my quarter panels and the lip above my driver rear wheel was rotted loose and bent in over the wheel, rubbing on my tire when I went over bumps or around corners quickly. I cut the area out and did a ****ty patch panel out of sheet metal scrap I had around and just riveted it in. It was pretty great, my car is a mess. I keep searching local junkyards hoping to find a hatch with good quarter panels I can cut to put on mine but all I've found so far is a rotted grey one and a dented up red one. Gonna go out this weekend and try another couple yards!

This weekend, I installed JDM projector lows & clear highs and gave my car a MUCH needed wash/wax.
Today, I ordered some ARP extended wheel studs in anticipation for new wheels that I'm aiming to have by the fall. -------------------- taking too long to mod since '09

I'm after something because I'll be running a small spacer to fit my Works... Nothing crazy ~4mm but I want to upgrade the studs and lugs to be safe. -------------------- |
