sadly it is,

I was on the left lane on route 17, when a white SUV in hte middle lane, cut me off, I touched the brakes and the car hydroplaned and spun out, hit hte curb, took a bus stop shelter off and came to a stop, after I got the car home I inspected and seems like the chassis is pretty damaged, the rear hatch has gaps on both sides and closes crocked, so I'm assuming tomorrow the insurance guy will total it.

in any case, before anyone ask, no I wont part the car out, I will buy it back from the insurance company and try to find a clean shell to start over.

A car is a car, but we are all glad youre ok!

Tried to install my fogs today, only to have one of the bolts that secure the brackets to the crash bar snap off.... mad.gif I threw a lot of sh!t around. So reluctantly I put everything back together, and now I need to find a way to extract that bolt.

Won't ever happen unfortunately. frown.gif I work right next to a nail salon and there's (no offense to anyone...) stupid girl drivers in and out all day. The damage on my car is just paint damage so I guess it could be worse. Now just more incentive to get every single ding taken out of the body and repaint it.

Had to get my car towed today...was very upsetting.

*Warning long drawn out story*
I was talking to my girlfriend when I noticed I was going slow so I steped on the pedal and nothing happened so I was just rolling down the road trying to start my car and it would not turn over. I seriously thought my engine just straight up seized and locked up on me at first. Spent 2 hours and 40 bucks trying to figure out what the **** was wrong with it. First thought was my left fan stopped working again and it had overheated causing the engine to just abruptly stop (no hesitation, putter, or anything it just stopped). Then my bud that I had bought the car from said that he had a problem like that once and it was caused by a fuse. So he came by and after looking for 20 minutes he remembered which one it was. So we thought the 2 pink 30amp fuses were completely blown so I went to Walmart since it was late and had to buy 2 kits just to get the 2 fuses I needed which was expensive as ****. Placed them in and still nothing. But after ****ing with them a bit it cranked right up no problem but when closing the hood it shut off. So it was around then we realized that one of the hookups for the fuses most have been loose and after fiddling around and trying to start the car we found out which one it was. But still the car wasn't drivable as the fuse would move out of the "sweet" spot and shut off and I had to get it towed (Triple A which was only 6 bucks so that wasn't bad at all). So tomorrow I'm gonna talk to the guy that replaced the bumper on the car when it was my friends and still if he has that Celica so I can take his fuse relay box.

tl;dr My fuse box is ****ed and I got my car towed back to my house for 6 bucks.

you had to get your car towed and that was upsetting? hows about a breaking the bar that holds the rear wheel straight 20 miles out of town and the car is 4wd so that meant when I floored it the car would go sideways! laugh.gif

had to wait 1 hour for the tow truck and take an hour and a half trip into town where my mechanic lives and then hitched a ride with my guard's brother's car an old ford falcon with only 6 bucks of gas to go 30 miles O_O! and it had no radio
