Fixed my driver side headlight connection.

Crimping butt connectors is a pain in the ass, I'm soldering next time.

Got the Celi back from the shop today, left fender was replaced and painted the equivalent of 199 by a reputable body shop. The hood and driver side door were blended to match, and the front bumper was repainted. I'm extremely happy to have the car back.

I'm less happy with the paintjob. It's an 8/10, for sure. A very nice ten-foot job, and I guess I now know what to expect from this kind of repair job. I'm very much picky with the car, so I notice the little things - they didn't sand the front bumper smooth, just painted it. I can see little etchings from where scratches were, dings elsewhere on the hood from rock chips. Looks shinier and more uniform for sure, but the blemishes are embellished as well and that's quite sad. I also wish they had told me beforehand that the front bumper would be painted, so I could have asked them to fill the holes left by the license plate bracket that's not required in Florida. As such, they left everything as is, so now I still have unnecessary bracket. I REALLY wanted that fixed if the front bumper ever got paint, so it's a bit bittersweet of a feeling. Good news is that the minor oxidation is now gone.

All in all, my Celica is back, I guess that's what matters. Now to chase down maintenance and minor upgrades...
