This morning, I gave the tC wheels another coat of paint, they are done now. Had to re-sand one after having a puncture fixed, which yielded several tool gashes. I'm excited to switch back to proper tires, these Michelins are dry-rotted and badly worn and the rusty steelies look suck. Wheels will be going back on within half an hour as soon as the tire shine dries...

Good to hear the tC wheels are going back on. I need to refurb mine as well but it's getting cold so I'll probably wait until the spring to do it.

Thanks guys. It's no Beams, but the price was right... 98K and super clean. Came with transmission, ECU and uncut wiring harness.

3rd Gen 3SGE FTW!! biggrin.gif

Redtop smile.gif

I would of loved to do a 3sgte but I would have to upgrade the suspension, brakes, rear diff, exhaust, ect. Too much $ overall.
a Beams is quick, easy, reliable, double the hp of the 3sfe that was in it, and now I just gotta figure out the wiring...

very awesome!
I thought the greytop was in the Rav4's in JPN? Figure that would be easier wiring up. Irrelevant though. I'll be waiting for this progression thread smile.gif

Two awesome swaps occurring here. I've always been a fan of the 3S-GE, seems like a wonderful engine. I wonder how they do with cams and all that, an NA build on that would be awesome. Best of luck with it. Same to the party. thumbsup.gif

And Brian - it's wonderful to have grip again. I missed it.

reorganized my wiring on the interior and did some body work. also installed the 2nd o2 sensor, since I only need one, and wired it up to an a/f gauge. started to make a custom gauge holder next to the cigarette lighter. i'll put pics up on my progress thread tomorrow
