Box you can kiss my little hick town butt cause even tho it's a fox body I still love my mustang. My dream one is a 64. But yay finally I got Kurt in the garage to play with the big baby... the Nova even if it was only for a day. At least I can say there was 3 adults and 3 kids working on sanding the paint last nite

That's fine for you, I just don't like them. Like Kurt doesn't like the Camaro, that's ok.(not really tongue.gif ) I just like the first generation Mustang, and those from the last two years.

Funny you should mention that. I stumbled across an autocross even here today, but it was too late to get signed up. They're having another one in two weeks, the last one of the season. It's free so I believe I might as well try it out.

The one near me had an open house so they had a $10 a lap deal. Usually it's $125 for unlimited laps from 12-5pm

This one was like $25 for SCCA members and $35 for non-members. It was crazy to see a Miata running 40 second laps and Vettes doing 45 seconds, then a Civic come in and run the same time as the Vettes. It was definitely a level playing field. I'm back on stock springs so I don't expect to run great times but it'll be fun anyway.

That's a short lap. The one I ran was a mile long lap. Best time of the day was around a 1:31 and my best was 1:55. Being that it was my first day out and it was wet, I don't think it's that bad. Plus that time was in the afternoon once it dried up more

Yeah, it was pretty short. I think the one in two weeks is a little longer but I doubt if it'll be a mile.

No tracks here either. mad.gif This one was set up in an old stadium parking lot. I actually looked for any events like this earlier this year when I moved here but couldn't find anything. This one was just thrown on me this morning when someone asked if I would be driving in it. Turns out I missed several here this summer.

Put on new gasket, still sucking air... Of course the replacement was just a stupid paper one instead of metal like the original...

Today I swapped out my tan carpet for black carpet, as well as ripped out my old foam carpet padding for sound insulation and replaced it with thinner, lighter Frost King.

When I got started on the sound insulation, I found out that I was out. So I threw the driver seat back in but left the rear set, passenger seat, carpet, glove box, center console, and some other things out of the car and went across the street to get some more. I didn't think I had removed that much weight but it felt peppier than it usually does.

After that, I wired up my dome light so it was on a delay after I open/close the doors.

Today I said **** it and used silicone to seal my throttle body onto the intake manifold after the new gasket didn't work.
