Put on " new-to-me " driver side fender & a brand new passenger side hi-beam & Silver star bulbs both
hi-beams... Gotta understand-- that is quite the accomplishment for me!!..

Today I booked our trip to Salem for Holloween, watched about 4 minutes of internet porn, dragged my sac across the new leather seats in the Celi ..... oh and bought a new Eclipse 7" double din Nav/CD/DVD yada yada yada unit

Today listed car for sale/trade in a local group off of facebook. It's just disparaging when there are cars with the same power with much better mpg, or the same mpg and more power. Like some kind of horrible compromise. If I'm going to be slow, might as well get the best mpg possible you know? It does look the best of the 4 cylinder cars, still... Same level of speed and can save $300-500 a year in gas. And all the curves around here a boat can handle with ease, so that takes away the other advantage of the Celica. Maybe I just have commitment issues.

swap a 7a in your car, then get the best mpg. how many mpg will you save? 2 -4 miles per the gallon if you buy another car.
wish you luck buddy. for an extra 3 miles per gallon, i wont sell the celica, and now that i use premium gas.. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL

I'm trying to get away from celicas, but its a curse, i keep finding them cheap to buy and selling them for 4 times what i bought them for!! I just want to find the right car on a side note: got my iphone 5 , and then sold it lol |

Save 5 or 11 mpg combined depending on the Civic. Not counting the VX or HX since they're so hard to find. Of course in order to get the 11 mpg increase would mean a CX Civic with some 70hp... Though perfect situation I'd find a VX which would give a combined 16 mpg over the Celica with 92hp. All of the roads I drive on have a speed limit of no higher than 55 anyway. It sucks horrendously. Only reason I got the car was because it was my uncle's. Had wanted the Civic for its mpg anyway... It's a love/hate kind of situation. The car itself I like, I just wish it got better mpg for the measly amount of power it has. If the ST had the GT's power with the same mpg I wouldn't be bitching about it. For the same amount of 0-60 performance I can get significantly better mpg. Curves are non existent, so handling really doesn't matter.
