... cleaned out my fiance's nest (aka the glovebox) and as I was looking through all the manual, etc, I found all the original dealer stickers, tags and whatnot. Even found the window sticker. That pleased me to have. Though it does say on it under optional equipment, "CALIE EMISSIONS REQUIREMENT". Did they all come like that in '99? Don't Cali spec cars have extra emission bull**** that robs me of what little power I have?

All cars sold in NY State are Cali emissions. It's ****ing annoying. Lucky for me, the only difference is 1 more o2 sensor and 1 more cat on the OBDI Celica. SOooo, second cat is gone and the second O2 sensor will be as well tongue.gif no check engine light comes on because its OBDI and the computer doesn't give two ****s lol.

Unfortunately in your situation, you can't do much accept for putting a higher flowing cat on the downstream and idk about performance.... but my Cali emissions seems to be just as fast, if not faster than non-Cali 94-95 GT model Celica's...

I hear ya. Had to cut my front licence plate bolts off with a dremmel because of rusted and stuck bolts and ended up taking a burning hot shard of what was left of the screw to my wienus. My poor wienus burned for a half hour!

On that note,

I love how our cars look without front plates. So, relocating to a odd angle that hides the plate more ftw!

Every car looks better without front plates... Front plates just ruin everything.

Today I drove my lexus to run some errands and realized that it is nice to drive a car that can't be outrun by a minivan. #rickjamesbish

You want power but have no money. That's a problem.

Cheap. Reliable. Fast. Pick two.
