Washed the Celica for the first time in a month. CV axle grease was caked onto the rims and the pass side door. God she needed it.

Took out the wimpy looking 14 inch hyundai wheels my Celica came with when I bought it earlier this week.and swapped them out for a more buffer looking 16 inch steelies and bought new shiny lug nuts for them. Also my dad helped me take out the hatch dampers from my gt and installed them on the st which had a 2x4 holding the hatch up tongue.gif

Today I thought over some ways that I could keep the Celica and be content. Really don't feel like the selling/buying car process, and the possibility of inheriting undisclosed problems. That and college and such, don't have the time now for swapping around. First I had the the thought of making a 7A-GE, but of course in typical Toyota fashion it's more of a pain than it should be. So that leaves redoing the exhaust and air intake, for whatever marginal gain that'll give. Then again the European 7A-FE made 10 more hp due to what looks like a factory header and lack of the pre-cat, so who knows. Only reason this thought occurs is people are wanting to know what to get me for Xmas and birthday, and a muffler and header could be arranged. tongue.gif

JDM Tails! I know I am a little late to the party, but better late than never tongue.gif I'm contemplating putting them on now in the dark or waiting till tomorrow... tongue.gif

Edit: Took them inside and cleaned them up a bit (I think they have been sitting at the wreckers/importors place for a while). Look heaps better, especially with the ST202/L/R writing off them. Unfortunately they do have quite a few scratches up close... But oh well... It is off an old car tongue.gif (Saddest thing is I think most of them happened after they were removed from the car).

I decided to wait until the light tomorrow to put them on so I can see the difference right away smile.gif

Ordered all the gaskets for the turbo oil/water lines and catalytic converter gasket so I can put my engine back together this week. Only thing left after that is the power steering line and it should finally be done biggrin.gif

Had my rear passengerside tire shred to pieces on the highway. Right when I was on top of one of those scary high interchanges.

Went to a pre-trial for my two speeding tickets today(got the second one on the way to court for the first kindasad.gif ). I filed a motion for discovery and served the DA his copies. That guy was so pissed he lost his composure, I guess they dont expect people to make them work for their money.

^ Ouch. I know that feel, but your situation is rough. What were the speeds you were caught at, and how the **** did it happen again as you were en route to court? Lead foot if I've ever seen it.

Some polishing compound and cleaner wax will help those scratches smile.gif

I think I'm bipolar. One day I like the car, the next I hate it. Oh, I finally put all the painted interior pieces back in. Black metallic was a good choice. Thinking about tinting the tail lights and painting the licence plate surround black.
