The dual exhaust is ok, it's not a true dual. Just has a split pipe before the muffler on the right side. It's mainly for looks but i guess it allows an easier flow. I don't like the mufflers on there right now. I'm either going to have a single exhaust setup with that muffler or if I decide to keep it dual, I'm going to use smaller mufflers, these are too big for the dual setup

I'd say go with a single setup, duals on our car look kind of tacky kindasad.gif

I was thinking the same thing, I thought it was unique which is why it's still on there. hmm I'll have to see what it looks like with a smaller exhaust then i'll make the final decision

Replaced my wiper motor, such a pain the the a$$!

On the bright side, I raised my car half an inch in the rear. I can soften the coilovers up a little more without worrying about rubbing now biggrin.gif

Picked up the Celi from the body shop (she get hit back in November by some teenage girl on her phone, her insurance finally decided to accept my claim) and she's looking better than ever! They got me a post-face bumper despite my VIN saying '95, the paint-match my Euro splitters without me having to ask, and they sealed the emblem holes in the front bumper so it'd be shaved like my last one. They completely detailed it inside and out, fresh coat of wax, the whole nine yards. All that between Monday and Thursday. I couldn't be happier. They are getting a great review on Google.

Pictures or it didn't happen!

Today I purchased a Red Top for the Celica.

. . . It's an Optima, not another BEAMS.

Mounted smkr3w's emblem in front, sprayed it black. Nice addition, solidly crafted. thumbsup.gif

Got stranded at a convenience store at 1:30AM, my starter finally kicked the bucket. I've been tapping it to get her started for a couple of months now. This time, the tapping didn't work, I actually ended up beating a hole through the starter. Got up around 9:00AM, got a ride to the auto parts store, $129+core. 20 minutes later she cranks right up smile.gif

That's the nice thing about manuals. Can't tell you how many times I push started my celica after I left a light on and drained the battery.

Today I started and drove the Celica for the first time in almost a month. Forgot how good that car feels... Tomorrow I'm going to do more Celica-related stuff, then probably do some more stuff for it on Tuesday.

It was actually yesterday, but I got a little taste of how the handling is with the rear coilovers on the stiffest settings. It feels nice to be able to oversteer the car, controllably, with ease. I can't wait to get a new set of summer tires cause then I can really test it out. Before I leave for boot camp, I might have to upgrade the rear sway bar too.

got pulled over with a busted headlight socket and my inspection sticker was ripped off and my car impounded. On my ticket it says my car was a coupe under model and under vin he wrote white. Seriously taking this to court....

should have just gunned it, after arguing with the cop, being detained in the cop car and watching them smash my back end on the ground while towing it I was ready to kill some body. He only had a v6 charger....with my mods I should have just took off. I was on the back roads damn it. Sucks I was low on gas.
