That's looking better. The spoiler looks faded and there seem to be scratches around the front emblem. I also see some bird droppings or even worse, the after-match, the eaten away clear coat underneath. The damage around the fenders seems to transfer to the bumper. Interior looks good from the single pic provided. Rims need to get fix. All that may lead to a good price drop. It may be a gt as well, judging by the stereo and GT wheels. With 144k miles, it's going to be much easier to work with. -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles. Project car 1992 Toyota Celica GT 5S-FE 170k Miles. Today I got check engine code 71 -_- horraay Since you have an OBDI model just take and shove a paper clip into the harness clip for the EGR temp sensor. Or you can do it the right way and clean/replace it all, but that's not any fun now is it? -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

I'm constantly reminded why I'm apprehensive about selling my car. Finding something I want is next to impossible... This is the part where not being a car guy would come in handy, then I could drive whatever piece of junk and not give two fücks. I could easily go 3+ months without finding another car. If anyone happens to know someone with a Corvette or Mustang that wants to trade for a Celica for whatever reason, it'd help.

I'm going to be shaving the gas cap cover, so any advice?
My plan is this: cut the stock pipe and remove the filler neck, relocate it, use a suitable hose for the purpose and reconnect the neck and original pipe, do the same for the smaller pipe, weld body filler primer paint the cover, done. -------------------- |

Too much work, I'll just put it behind the shock towers in the trunk.
I put gas maybe once in 3 months, so that's the main reason I'm not going all in. -------------------- |

If he went LPG then I suppose it'd be ok. Another option would be to do like cars back in the day and have the gas filler behind a flip down licence plate.

I've been running LPG for quite some time.
When I go to put gas in it and open the cap it releases pressure, if it was leaking it won't do that. -------------------- |

Today Mother Nature washed my car, that was nice of her.
Also I have the perfect personalized plate tag, "PL8 TAG". It's the condensed essence of me being a smart-ass, it's brilliant. Either that or something derogatory to people that drive a Honda, I can't decide. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

You'll gener8 pl8 h8ers. If I had the money to just blow I'd buy a Honda so I could make it into a giant parody of itself. Generally this would involve me revving my engine at everything(kids riding trikes included), dumping the clutch at 8K all the time, painting each panel in a different shade of primer, and then yelling "VTEC YO" as the car bursts into flames from using too much nitrous oxide. Until then I have to work with what I have, so that leaves derogatory vanity plates. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed
