Everyone involved is fine. The only person that got injured was my girl, she smacked her hand on my windshield and split the webbing in between 2 fingers open so she got a stitch just to be on the safe side but shes doing great.

As for the airbags...yea I didn't have any. My car was totaled once back in the early 2000's before my buds dad bought it with a salvaged title and we never bothered

I gotta admit, Im shocked how well my car did. I did a 180 and slid 45ft. Yet there doesn't seem to be any frame damage. The engine (besides the belts which is what stalled my car out) is untouched. The only thing my car leaked on the roll back was power steering fluid. The fender and engine bay wall completely deflected the other car. The other car (an Impala) didn't fair out to well... Its whole front end on both sides is gone. Exhaust fell off. Immediately obvious frame damage. It was leaking oil from everywhere possible. Both wheels weren't were they was supposed to be. I think he slid 75ft.

Ouch.

Glad the celica did what it was supposed to - protect it's occupants. You going to get another 6gc or are you looking for something new, sir?

Best of luck with the resolution, that sucks Travis. Is this pretty red 5th gen an All-Trac? And what was the cause of the collision?

Haha I wish it was! I saw one but it was like 4k and the whole car was in pieces from an abandoned restoration project.

It was my fault. I was in the turning lane, coundn't see the fast lane (car in front going the opposite way) so I creeped out to take a peek since the other lane was dead empty as far as I could see. Dumb choice. Saw a car about 10 yards hauling ass right at me so I slammed on the brakes and tried throwing it into reverse. He freaked out, locked his brakes and slammed right into the passenger side of my car.

I had seen the specs somewhere on the internet that said we have a 15.9gallon capacity fuel tank. but had never put it to the test.
Everytime I drive it until the light comes on, and then fill it up, I have never been able to fit more than 13 gallons in.
So I figured the light must come on with 3 gallons left.

Today I put that to the test on the way home from school, the light came on and I continued to drive for 50 more miles on the highway which must of used
2 gallons of gasoline and I was still running along without a sputter or a miss.

So now I know for sure that there are indeed three gallons left when the light comes on. but I wouldn't want to get it below 1 gallon.
