Should I put HIDs in my high beams? I have the bulbs and ballasts available.
It looks strange hit HIDs in the lows and incandescent in the highs, white and yellow. But how often does one use highs...
I have 6000k HIDs in my projectors and LEDs in my crystal highs. Seems a waste to put HIDs in high beams since they take a bit to warm up dont they?

It's a matter of seconds for the warm up.
I'll focus on other stuff for now, hids can wait.

Usually with hid's you will very rarely ever have to even use highs. They are brighter and light up things further due to the color temperature. Maybe during very dark nights down a country road, but I never use my highs. They Dont due much.

Mine doesn't have a single badge, it's funny when people look around, trying to figure out what kind of a car it is.

Today it warmed up a bit and I had a little time so I installed the fuel filter that's been in my back seat for weeks.
I had gone to Sears just so I could find a 6point 17mm box end for the banjo nut on the top so I could get it off without rounding it.
Once it came off I tipped it on it's side and could see the muddy grey gasoline pouring out of it. And I had my brother watch the fuel line while I started it to be sure it wasn't leaking, and sure enough the bottom leaked the first time and I needed to torque it a bit more.
And what a big difference it made in the way it idles and accelerates, even just the sound of the motor is much better.

It's like the "Novice Driver" symbol in japan. It's required when you're a new driver.
