Well that's a tough choice, not every day someone is willing to pay more than asking price, you can always get another celica, possibly a black one and spend the extra money on some mods?

IF, and that's a fairly big one(see what I did there?), I were to get another Celica it'd be a black GT with a blown engine and it'd get a 1MZ. Odds are it'll be a MKIII Supra Turbo, that or something with a V8 if I can get over one or more of the following:cheap interior, doesn't handle well without bandaging, can't be worked on. Looked at the Z32 300ZX and the fact they're near impossible to work on and need 60K timing services on an interference engine... Ehh, also the RX7 and 944 but those are fairly self explanatory. S13 240SX needs swapped. Miata and MR2 are useless as cars. If it wasn't for the fact I hated automatics I'd just get a SC400 and call it a day. Yes I could convert, but at that rate I'd rather drop a 1UZ into a Supra. This kid really wants the Celica, so there's that part of me that doesn't want to disappoint him. If there was a Supra that I'd been driving by everyday, but was saving up for to buy, and when I finally had the money they changed their mind I'd be heart broken. The Supra was my first car, so there's that connection to it. Non turbo models are cheap and fairly easy to find, it seems all of the Turbo models I find are automatic. BHG doesn't bother me as I'd immediately replace it if it hadn't been redone properly yet. It's damned if I do damned if I don't. I'll be making money off the Celica selling it, even after what I've done to it and the cost of running it the last two years. I like it outside of it being red and slow. I haven't given a response yet, but I know he's expecting one soon I'm sure.

Yeah, but I'm not really one for FWD. It's fine for lower power applications, but meh. Was thinking car shopping wouldn't be so hard if I weren't so averted to automatics, non-coupes, and FWD. Meh, I suppose I'll send a text later saying I'll sell it. Then wait three or more months for the right car to show up, but that's ok. At times I've thought I should just stop caring buy some $1,000 pos and then just not care at all. That's not me though. I want a car that says, "HEY LOOK AT ME" while I'm thinking "I don't want people to look at me" as I drive it. I need a car that counters my personality. It's funny, as a person I just want to fade away into obscurity but I want a car that grabs people's attention.

So I've been contemplating a high compression NA MKIII since it'd seem finding a manual Turbo model is impossible. Head has to come off anyway, figure take it from the 9:1 to 12:1 along with full exhaust and perhaps cams. I wouldn't do much with the Turbo model outside of full exhaust and intake, it's not like I'm wanting a huge build or anything. Just a car that can hold off minivans and the such.

Hmm, if I could find a SC300 with the 5-speed that'd be another option. All else fails I can wallow in cheap plastic interior while fishtailing and listening to V8 burble. Either way I guess this is it, I kind of halfheartedly agreed to sell it.. Obviously this kid wants it more than I do I guess... Anyhow, I suppose I'll stay around here as it's just too much trouble to reestablish myself elsewhere. If I get a Supra, which is most likely, that's close enough to a Celica anyway.

Nah on the GS, too many doors. I may feel and look old, but that's no reason to give in and buy a sensible car.

Guess it's really a matter of what shows up. Maybe I should get another MKIII, if for anything to further my delusions when I choose to indulge in them. I guess this is why old men spend so much on classic cars, I just happened to hit that stage 20 years in advance. Perhaps this means I'll die 20 years in advance too, I can't really see myself past 40 or 50 anyway. Looking at what's in store for me, I say I have another good 20 years at the most..

See this is why I should be driving now, to forget and stop thinking for once... Perhaps the last drive with the Celica, I expect sometime in the next 12 hours I'll be sans car.
