Well Box may not have found a car but I found one. Got this 95 civic as a "beater" that way I don't have to worry about my celica as much.

I ended up getting my 7GC shifter for $20 shipped, then shortly after sold the car. Was also after buying exhaust, kind of ironic that once I decided to keep it and start doing some modifications is when I ended up selling it.

I had thought about one of those, but the windows are too big. That and they're made in Ohio, something about buying a Japanese car made over here is unsettling to me. So is it the DX or EX and what transmission does it have?

DX 5 speed. I can't imagine an automatic civic. It's a little rough around the edges but I'll put a bit of money into it and it will look great.

I've seen that.It would be fun, but don't know if I want to do that. I just need it to run forever and get good mpg. I was surprised by how light these little guys are. The only things I'll do to it will be appearance stuff, and clean it. I swear the previous owners never cleaner the interior at all.

that civic has alot of potential lol box atleast those windows are tinted lol they are pretty big. and i have been looking for the short shifter. couldnt find it. i used mobile tho so will check on comp now.

@1994celica - i had a civic. destroyed it after i decided to take it off road lol engine still worked though. other than it looking a bit bland (interior) it was quite fun to drive

just noticed pegs comment. is the 7gc one a straight swap or something? there is plenty of them (£30 in UK)

The hatchback of those years is ok.

Yep, the 7GC is the same. Also changing out the rubber shifter base bushings for the aluminum ones helps considerably.

The 7GC shifter comes with the bushings, they help a lot with the feel.

was going to say the same thing lol sell anything to box. he still hasnt found a car.

today i... installed the indiglo dash kit (with relative ease) but removed again because some of the dash lights were on the wrong side and the handbrake symbol wasnt a symbol but the word "brake" it didnt show properly and it really pissed me off (im fasting, havnt eaten since 2am, very edgy at the moment)

So,. in addition to buying some cars,.

72 Super Beetle,. (my wife's new ride)
87 Supra Turbo (new toy)
95 Celica GT (3mz swap and sell/or keep)

But wait, there's more,. these came in over the weekend too.

I'm actually shocked with how well they work, I hooked them up to a power supply I had on my desk.

I'm thinking that they will light the floor wells, and I will mount them under the dash,. maybe., we will see what angles I can figure out, but I've got extra doors, so even the whole there doesn't bother me that much,.

Today I also got my front lip!!!

It shipped uncut!
