To think you could've had a blue car instead of red one, the shame. I'd be up for a '92 or '93 Celica I suppose, though I'd wear the headlight motors out because I'd flip them up and down and giggle uncontrollably. I'd go for a 7GC if it weren't for the offensively cheap interior, like I just don't even know how you go from the 6GC to that.

Only problem is they be heavier and I hear the interior isn't quite as nice as the 6GC, though still much better than the 7GC though. So I've been reading and researching like a mad person, since I'm good like that. Really only the Integra and CR-X out of the FWD Honda camp I'd care to own. The Del Sol is nifty, but chassis flex isn't cool. The Civic hatch is ok, but I'm just a snob when it comes to where my cars were made. My Japanese cars should be made in Japan, damn it all. The Prelude is a pig and would only be good with the H22. Mitsubishi and Hyundai(Korean, but whatever) are bleh... Anything domestic branded is just no... Uhhh, Nissan has the NX2000, Mazda the MX-3, and of course Toyota with the Celica. I think that more or less covers everything. Though if a Miata or 240 ever showed up in decent shape there'd be that too, but I'm tired of playing the waiting game. Found a few nice 4th gen V6 5-speed F-bodies, but that's just asking for immediate regret. I've seen a few 7GC GT for sale, but cheap plastic everywhere... It's really disappointing to be honest.

Got an e-mail back on the Celica, it has 280K miles and needs a starter and radiator before it can drive. If it were close by I'd give it a look, but I can't justify the cost of having it towed over 200 miles. That's a 1MZ, ECU, and harness from my local yard...

other than the silly paint job it sounds like its worth a look to be honest lol

today i Q Bonded the driver side headlight tab so that it actually points forward and not upwards lol good as new. that **** is some strong stuff!

also exhaust fitted. sounds healthy again. the exhaust was so badly corroded at the joints (and in **** shape in general) that it had to be cut out in sections. re-welding the centre silencer joints because it doesnt sound 100% right plus i get to practice my welding smile.gif

It's literally zip-tied together, that and it's a Mitsubishi anyway. It was just to illustrate the current automotive market when it comes to every two door import outside of the Celica.

Yay new exhaust.

I thought the ST was slow with the 14" alloys, I'd hate to know how bad it is with those anchors... It just becomes the issue of having to redo everything when I could just find one that hasn't been messed with and then it's not even a problem. It's not like there's a lack of stock Celica out there, it's just finding the liftback GT with a 5-speed that ISN'T RED that things become trickier.

I saw the one in Atlanta but it's a ST. This was just listed though:

The wheels would have to go.

Yeah, I'll never understand half of the **** I've seen when looking at the majority of cars near me. Found another Miata about 50 miles out:

Says it has fresh paint, engine, and transmission. The fresh paint is straightforward, just not clear on the engine and trans. Rebuilt, replaced, mild refresh and service? Has new tires and states the interior is free of tears and cracks, so may have a winner. By the time I found it was too late to call, so will do so tomorrow afternoon. Still waiting on an e-mail from the first one.

ive had river turtles a couple times, the first ones were caught as hatchlings in the river and they were the size of quarters. 2 years later they are way too big unless you've got some big coy pond out side, or a big stock tank in the basement or something
