Had to lay down for awhile, only got two hours of sleep last night and was horrendously hot today. It was owned by a lady in what I'd guess to be her 40's, it's an ALL original Alabama car. Even has all the original documentation. Was sold in August of '89 in Decatur, Alabama and has spent most of its life in a garage. Makes it worth waiting for 2 months to find the right car. No airbag faults or CEL and the only rust is on the wiper arms and window trim where the coating has started to lift. Will take care of that this weekend I suppose along with cleaning and waxing it and doing some mild detailing inside and under the hood. Drives really straight and feels solid throughout. It's like a smaller Celica propelled by the proper wheels. tongue.gif Going to keep an eye out for the hardtop.

that definitely sounds like it was worth waiting for to be honest. (i tend to be an impulse buyer, 18 cars in the last 10 yrs) you got any future plans for it? or leaving it stock?

also that reminds me... i got rust on both wiper arms aswel. how should i go about dealing with that? and is it safe to clean the engine bay +engine? mine has never actually been cleaned

Lmk when your only 25 an had around 60
They you'll know what its like to be an impulsive car guy haha

lol i dont count the cars iv had less than a week! im 25 but 60 cars is definitely alot lol

Kurt is a car pimp. tongue.gif

I thought the Celica's cupholders were bad, the Miata doesn't even have one. So I'm converting the ashtray.

Woo! Let us know how it drives once it's all set up. Speaking of A/C I need to decide if I want to stay R-12 or convert.

I'll wait to put up photos until it is back at my shop, with the other toy's.

That's good, so are you going to keep it or still plan on selling/trading for a MR2 Spyder?

Yeah, it's been absolutely miserable these last few days.

A little dark don't you think? tongue.gif

I bought my first can of Plasti Dip today, will use it to re-coat the window sill trim. Figure at least that way it'll somewhat match the rest of the trim.

Yeah lol I needed the front ones to match closely to the bumper colour so it looks like I have less lights. And the side ones was just out of pure disgust lol put 5 coats on. Light output is pretty decent though. Especially the fronts.

If plasti dip is surviving in Australia I might need to invest in some for my wheels lol

Yeah, plenty of people are crazy about it here tongue.gif

So... today I bought THIS;

JDM EXHAUST, YO!

After owning a modified V8 mustang with exhaust system, hearing my car fire up when I got home was very disappointing tongue.gif It will never pop, growl and burble... but at least I can make mine audible tongue.gif I need to work out how I am shipping it though, anybody have any idea how much it would weigh?

Also, I didn't want to miss out so I bid on two of them and accidentally won both tongue.gif So EOI on the second one once I work out some idea on shipping them.

I also bought THIS;

First let me say how much I LOOOOVVVVEEEE the TRD spoiler.... but I'm just not sure if it will work on my car. Thoughts on install vs sell? (Before you ask, no you can't have it tongue.gif)
