There is already a build thread with even more power. I might consider that instead of a ST205.

Today someone tried to kill me on my way to work...

I was driving along like I always do, aggressively and too fast through construction, when the unthinkable happened, a Ford Focus cut in to my lane and to avoid having the entire passenger's side of my 6g smashed, I whipped in to the construction lane, however, in my haste to get over, I clipped an orange barrel with my fender, mirror and door.

I'm thinking it will buff out, as it didn't do anything more than scratch it,. I was nearly all the way in the lane and just brushed the barrel...

Damn you girl in the ford focus, and to think someone was just murdered two weeks ago just miles from where this happened for road rage related issues, she's lucky I'm not that crazy!

cruise control is your friend. it would have to weigh 100+ pounds before I'd consider removing it even from a race car smile.gif

Only do it if you have bad paint. I like plastidip but if I had good paint I wouldn't do it. It's a bit of a pain to deal with. I only used it because my paint was bad and I couldn't afford to fix my body damage.

OT: Today I replaced my oxygen sensor. Mine wasn't that old but it was a crappy autozone part and I'm done with those. Only oem quality or better from now on.

Today I got pulled over for the first time in my Celica.

They claimed my position lights were off... magically when I stepped outside to take a look with them.... they're on...

Cop- "Do you have a valid drivers license? Have you been drinking?"

Me- "Yes, and no."

Cop- "Ok get that taken care of."

Me- "Uh... ok?"

Entire encounter lasted maybe 60 seconds. It's right after a college football game, and yes it's Saturday night so they're hunting for DUI's but come on... lol

What's really funny is he said NOTHING about one of my two license plate lights ACTUALLY being out.

Yesterday I drove the Celica and realized how good it still is. Very comfortable ride for the age even though it's lowered, plus what feels like no body roll compared to the Miata, and very comfortable seats. And it's very quiet.

Those were my observations as well. I stand by what I said, the only thing missing from the 6GC are the rear wheels doing the moving.
