So, it happened yesterday...
My car had a deposit put down and is being picked up tomorrow. At the exact same time (not even joking) I won a Caldina. It is a 2002 N-Edition, 138XXXks, White with Sunroof. -------------------- ------------------------------| White '94 Celica | Bought 11/05/12 | Sold 12/05/15 |------------------------------ |

I suppose when you say won you mean eBay or some other auction? I mean, who gives away a 13 year old station wagon as a prize?

It wasn't today, but last week I did the exhaust in my 94 ST. So as of now it goes:
1: Cheap eBay Header 2: Straight Pipe 3: 26" Glass-Packed Thrush Muffler 4: More straight Pipe 5: 50 Series Delta Flow Flowmaster Muffler It's all 2" piping and sounds pretty good. At first I didn't have enough time to put the whole thing on. So I drove it around for a day with # 4&5 missing. sounded SICK and way too loud. |

Not today, but this past weekend, I (finally) finished replacing all 8 speakers in my vert. The 4" speaker replacement suck. I'm working on a full video tutorial / write-up - just need to cobble together the relevant pictures and vids.
Driver's Door Passenger's Door Also fixed an issue as to why I wasn't getting sound from my rear speakers with my aftermarket stereo...turns out my Pioneer H/U needed the initial settings changed so the signal went through the RCAs. The difference in sound from the stock (and degraded) speakers is astounding. Could use a little more punch, but I'm getting some rattling that I need to resolve before adding said punch. Next up is changing out my sparks (and dizzy). Also need to take it to the body shop to see why my trunk lid isn't flush and to see if they can adjust the top. It looks like when the top is up, my rear windows squish up against the front. It's not sexy. And I'm pretty sure there's tension building in that rear window assembly and I'd like to fix that ASAP. |

Got me a new set of kicks today. Kumho, only because nobody else really makes an All-Season in the stock 205/55 r15 size.
Then I spent the rest of the day trying to break em loose, and couldn't really do it, and it was raining good this morning. This post has been edited by VavAlephVav: Jun 3, 2015 - 11:31 PM -------------------- Bust a Deal; Face the Wheel.

Got underneath the celi to try and get a hint as to where my oil leaks.... Oil pan for sure... the other 2 are a mystery... a tech that i used to work with told me the head gasket was leaking oil.. Hoping he is wrong because it's very uncommon for a head gasket to leak oil... right? Posting pics in a different thread tomorrow night.

Generally a head gasket means oil/coolant contamination and or white smoke from the exhaust. What he probably meant was the valve cover. Other places that can leak are the rear seal, cam seals, and crank seal.
If it were me I'd change the oil pan and valve cover gaskets and see how it does. If it still leaks slightly you can try ATP Re-Seal to stop any remaining leaks. I've used it personally a few times and it's always worked, I was really happy when it stopped a power steering rack leak. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

Ordered my vacuum hose for the beams. Tomorrow I'll be switching the celica out for the Porsche and hopefully can get started on my swap soon. Needless to say I'm nervous about the whole thing.

Nothing to be nervous about, worst case scenario you end up with a pile of expensive parts you really can't sell for anything.
