SICK! I'm doing the exact same thing when I do my battery relocation!
Did you change your intake routing at all? To have it all the way up by the high beam? And it was a good idea to use an old tennis racket! I've been searching for DAYS for some mesh I can fit to it, but that's a much better idea! Kudos! -------------------- 1996 Toyota Celica GT (GT4 conversion) - SOLD :(

Looks good. Great idea with the tennis racket mesh!
How do cops in the UK look at you missing one of the high beams, though? -------------------- ![]() |

But The idea is good. I have even seen air filters sticking all the way out there. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL

That's awesome! Sadly though here in the US that's a big no no aka illegal and won't pass safety inspection which driving a car with no inspection is a bad idea. I don't see how a cop can pull some one over for that for the high beam is only to be used for certain situations but I'm sure if you had to drive with the high beams on and a cop did see only one high beam on I guess you could be pulled over for that. I would so do this but I don't want to deal with failing inspections.

I like it, nice use of innovation. However, I would black out the other high-beam so it matches, because right now it just looks like your car has a black eye.

it looks ok but if you were to route the air intake there, wouldn't water get in? possible hydrolock?

it looks ok but if you were to route the air intake there, wouldn't water get in? possible hydrolock? unless someone runs a hose through his vent, then no, rain will not cause it to hydro lock. -------------------- |

it looks ok but if you were to route the air intake there, wouldn't water get in? possible hydrolock? Intakes can be exposed to water, so long as they aren't completely drenched... Like if someone routed their intake into their wheel well and went through a huge puddle, they'd have problems. But not if it was just raining. -------------------- 1996 Toyota Celica GT (GT4 conversion) - SOLD :(

^ghey^ i heard pouring a bag of sand in ur intake cleans up the engine.. Does that really work? Whenever I bought my GT, I opened up the intake box and it was filled with sand. I was wondering how it got in there in the first place. But now I understand ![]() I cant quite depict if this is sarcasm or not? lololol ![]() -------------------- 2006 BMW 330i - 6 Speed - Dinan Stage 1
