Ground Controls are the best by far, whether you've got stock or aftermarket struts.

Yeah, the GCs are much better in manufacturing quality than all the others. Just a word of caution tho, if it snows where you're at and they put salt on the roads: Make sure that you put anti-seize on the lockdown bolts on the GCs. If you don't they'll seize and you'll have to drop $80 for new lower spring perches.
I highly suggest that you buy your coilovers directly from ground control. If you can, talk to Jay. He's a good guy and will take good care of you. Make sure you tell him exactly what you want out of them, he can suggest spring rates that you'll be happy with. |

has anyone tried the c-1 coilover kit? they are shown with koni yellows and i was wondering if they required the adaptaion like the GC's do to fit them, oh and also how much they run. Probably to rich for me.

Yea, do it like Evil said...get GCC's ..i used to have them on my previous celica 5th gen with stock shocks and the ride quality was great. But now I got KYB shocks with DZ (dropzone) coilovers and i dont think the ride quality is good as much GCC's I am looking forward to get GCC"s again and get rid of DZ coilovers. just IMO
