Hello,
The power window regulator has gone bad in my 1996 Celica GT-S Convertible. There is a good deal for one on E-bay but it from a gen 7 Celica. From the pictures it sure looks exactly like the one I took out of mine! Does anyone know if these parts cross-over? Thanks! This post has been edited by wilc4: Apr 29, 2010 - 12:33 AM |

The 7 series won't work, the mounting is different. Why not get one made for your car with no issues? Any 94 to 99 will work. Make sure they are including the entire regulator and not just the Motor and the part is "A" grade. When you get it coat the cable in white lithium grease and you should never have to replace it again.

That's their ads I posted. Recyclers are notorious for posting parts they either don't have or don't have complete. That's why I stated to call and ask before buying. All four of these don't have what they advertised? That's a little unusual.

Wilc4,
If none of the salvage yards in cali have a complete regulator, try this site: http://www.carsandpartsrequest.com/request.htm They put your part request on their salvage network and the dealers email you with parts & quotes. As always make sure it's a complete regulator. You'll get replies in less than an hour during business hours! Good luck! Phil |
