Im after a set of white wheels for my celica but the ones I want only come in 18" size. Just wondering will these make my ride look like a 4x4 or is the overall diameter the same as the stock ones, I guess the profile of the stock ones are quite alot. I think they are 205/55/R15 and I believe the profile of the 18" ones will be 225/35/R18.

Need help as I don't want to mess up the look of it.

that'll be fine - i've got 18" wheels and have no problems (Dropped 30mm with eibach springs)

ok but did you need to drop it 30mm because it looked too high or was that just a handling improvement mod?

no - i dropped it when i first got it (Before buying alloys) for improved handling - and looks meaner aswell. I don't like cars with big alloys cuz - as u said - they look like trucks biggrin.gif

even with 18"s and drop, doesnt touch. I was pretty happy with that!
