Hey, so I'm in the process of removing my front bumper, and I've got everything removed except the retainer bar. The two bolts on the far ends of the bar, the 10mm ones are rusted in and just spin when I use my ratchet on them. How do I get them out? I've already tried wd-40 and only have rather basic tools.

Awwwww...I was going to say that. PB Blaster is the best! I would think though that if they are just spinning freely, it may be time to tap those things.

Yeah they're spinning pretty freely. Moreso after I PB Blaster'd them. Gonna see if one of my buddies has a drill or something to drill them out. In the meantime is there any way I can try to break them free?

use a grinder or a dremel to cut it off and get a bolt to replace it

Drill them out and retap (if there is enough meat left). That is what I would do.

I ended up widening the holes around the retainer bar and bumper to get them off. The bolts need to be tapped, I'll get to it when I have more time lol.
