here is what i did, i konw its not much, and it sunds stupid, but love is the key. i went and bought royal purple oil, and filter. a cold air intake and thats it engine wise. !now! go thought all the things that make things easy for you car to go faster, oil the wheel berings, change the transmition oil. look for parts on your ar that arent necesary. such as there are a few pices of metal used for a holder for something in the compartment in the back right corner of the trunk, also look in the engine bay. run some injector cleaner through a few times. simple things like this really do make a diference!
i beat my friends wrx sub;i yesterday. all he had to say were excuses.

You beat a wrx with royal purple and a short ram intake?

Those are there to hold the scissor jack in the car.

Yep, that's what it is there for. I found it most convenient when I had a flat tire. Unfortunately though, my spare was flat too. I learned my lesson to always check the spare tire to make sure it's aired up when I check my other tires. I use that for storage too though. I always keep swim trunks in there in the summer in case of impromptu swimming and an extra jacket in there in the winter in case something happens and the car breaks down and I'm pretty far from anywhere.

i would supose it a good time to tell you to that a month ago i had my engine completely re-done. new timing belt, remaping of the injectors, new head gasket, all the goodies. and it wasnt even a 1/4 mile race, just to have some fun.
