ok, i'm installing a new afr gauge and i am in need of help. is it better to attach the ground to the same ecu ground or can i run it elsewhere? like to the battery? if to the ecu ground. does anyone know where that is located on the car? i worked on a civic and that one had its ecu ground in the engine bay. need help

Great thing about ground is, for any 12v item in your car its universal.


I don't believe the ECU in our cars utilizes a filter. I know you need them for stereo equip sometimes, but for that I'd say you're safe using chassis ground.
