depends on how much work is needed to make it fit, which depends on the kit that you get
personally, i think that the 6th gen celicas look good enough but go for it if thats what you want |

no..the kit itself is like around 600 dollars depending on where u get it from...on AVERAGE...installation and paint at a GOOD bodyshop will do it for like 500-800 dollars depending on how much work...installing the kit usually costs almost double the kit itself...body kits are expensive man. dont go cheap with that kinda stuff unless u want it lookin sh*tty...it is expensive but not a rip off... thats average cost unless u do everythin urself, or u got hook ups. in my opinion, its kinda "ricey" to drive around in a car with an unpainted kit...Trust me ive seen it and it makes the car look fugly...the point of a body kit is to make the car look better. My advice to you is to just save up to get the kit and paint done all at once at the same time OR dont get one at all. Just buy the kit now and put it on when ur ready to get it painted. People will appreciate your ride a lot more....but its your car, your money. -------------------- Note to new members. Discussions such as the ones below are forbidden.

I see...I was expecting around 400-500 for the installation...however, I was aware of the fact that kits are expensive...I have done my research

i mean u can DEFINATELY get it done for 400-500 dollars if the kit fits almost perfect but most kits dont...400-500 dollars would be a GREAT price as long as they do good quality work -------------------- Note to new members. Discussions such as the ones below are forbidden.

I tried to install my Veilside kit myself but they fit like crap, and you will find alot of them do! Its not hard to do, they just bolt on, but if they dont line up youll have to do some sanding or cutting and if its fiberglass they can break if you make a wrong cut. When I was working on my veilside and found it didnt work, I called them and was told it was because they were made for the japanese version 6g and they have different safety features,so I bitched and they sent me a free shifter and were going to put a pic of my car at the end of fast and the furious, the first one,but I didnt get it on in time.
