Does anybody know what the Carbon-fiber canister-looking thing is? The part right after the the intake filter. Looks interesting.

probably a carbon fiber canister, doubt it does anything important for performance.

with that 90 degree bend that intake could hamper performance ever so slightly, the carbon is probably just for bling bling can't imagine it performing any task, maybe there is an ebay special electric super charger in their laugh.gif

Well thats obviously a stratified intake module or SIM, just having installed gives you a 50 Hp boost, if you actually power it up it may be too much for your engine to withstand. I'm sure you will be able to beat a WRX with that thing under your hood!




Naaaaa.... It looks like a resonance chamber, it changes the sound of your intake, makes it sound throatier at WOT. wink.gif

I dont think thats the ST202 one btw, or else you be drawing air from above the extractors...

they also made the 'powerdeck spacer' for the Gen III
