Are sway bars worth my money time and effort? Since I am too cheap to get rims, I am getting GR-2's and Tanabe springs. I can also get Suspension techniques sway bars for a little over 200 shipped. Are they worth buying, or should I put the money towards other projects?

Thanks

Jon

I've heard that they make a noticable difference in body roll and stiffness when cornering, but I can't let you know for sure until I install mine on my car once it's running again.

The best bang for your dollar for me. It made the most difference to handling on my car. More than dropping it and the Koni shocks... but saying that I had the sway bars installed after I lowered it and got new shocks. Maybe they they all work together well. Go get some, you wont regret it.

Yeah i was going to do the install myself, then looked and realized that there are alot of parts to move and I was afraid of breaking hte links. So I decided taht it would be easier to just have my mechanice install it for me.

I've been trying to find the answer to this question for a while. When you install the ST sway bars, do they replace the sway bar links or do you still need them?

You still need the links, What the difference would be between the ST and GT, I cant say, the shop manual does not show any difference. I would think the GT would be the stiffer/thicker ones,,,anybody actually compared the 2? and there was a "sport suspension' option for the GT which would be the bars to order if they show a different part number.

I made a custom front sway bar tonight using one for a civic. It definitely is worth it! My car handles so much better and the handling response is so much better.

Just got my car back. The difference is night and day from the Stock ST sway bars. I love the way it handles now. The best investment by far. Also, the rattling from hitting crack is gone now, which leads me to belive that the rattling some people get is from bad bushings. But anyway, I reccomend these to anyone. www.Nopi.com

That's good to hear. If I ever get my car back, I'll install mine.
