Well - the nice thing about the TRD kit is you don't have to gut your shift assembly to install it. It comes assembled and you just drop it in. But the same policy applies to the TRD Quickshift kit... the area below the fulcrom is longer, which is why you have to use the "spacers" under the shift assembly, otherwise the bottom of the shaft would rub on the body... tongue.gif

I see where the confusion lies now; its all in how its described I guess. Short Shifter means the same as Quick Shifter to some/most ppls.

... works for me. I'll know for next time then.

PS - I have the 7th Gen Quickshift eBay kit installed, and I love it. I've never had any problems with it either (in regards to being over zealous with the shifting... lol).

I've driven a 6th Gen with the 7th Gen shifter and it was just fine. It is virtually the same as the 6th Gen, and I wouldn't have known if it wasn't mentioned.

you driven them right hand drive (JDM/UK) the stick is wobbly and your hand hits the hand brake (e brake) due to lack of bends, maybe there ok in left hand drives (USDM cars)
