Before running from your problems you need to evaluate your current concerns and whether your issues are worth the trouble of switching to another core. Also you should think about type of vehicle you are switching to. Even if you go with 1999 celica.. its already 11 years old so as any old car it will have issues too. So does every car with over 150000 miles on it.

Yarik is right.

I've owned both an auto ST and a manual GT. All I can say is that it's only 20 hp, but it's VERY noticeable. The GT feels a lot more powerful at any RPM. The ST Celica isn't necessarily not fun.. Just not fast. However, gas mileage is a huge plus. I got 34 mpg highway with my auto ST.

well, the ST i found only has 94k on it for 3000, which i dont find to be too bad of a deal considering the condition it is in and that it has always been garaged and never driven in the winter.

And yes, yarik is right, i think about that all the time, however i just brought my car to the garage the other day to have it checked out. my oil pressure is only at 15pst @ 3k when the manual stats it should be around 36 and up. i also run lean, and my mech told me they didnt pull up any codes when they checked it. For me, i have already sunk enough money into it to try to get it running right. but it is nice not having a car payment.

I really want a 02-03 scooby but im not too sure considering repairs might be costy, but i never owned one so i wouldnt know

eh, i have a st and have driven a gt, not life a life changing difference what so ever. i like the sound of the 7a much better. If you really like the celica and want another one, I say go for it.
