just wondering what the normal point for the gt temp gauge to sit at , mine can get pretty warm and get all the there pretty close before the fans turn on and the thermostat opens , just checking to see what yours are at < thanks

Right in the middle.
If yours is too high, check your coolant level.

yea, mine sits just like a stock car does, right about smack dab in the middle of the gauge.

mine sits little over half driving and 3/4 after idling for awhile, but to keep it from overheating i have the fans temp switch on plugged so the fans run the whole time , thermostat is new aswell as the temp switch , fans dont turn on till its almost in the red

Thats too hot.
Did you check your coolant level in the overflow tank ?
